Wish You Well (What Didn’'t Happen) 1)We were only just eighteen, We laughed, we joked, we made a scene, We danced down empty halls, We couldn’t see our crystal ball. We graduated, we danced all night, You held me close, you held me tight, But when we parted we were still just friends, We went to college it was the end. Chorus: I wish you well, only time can tell, Life is short and so let it go, let it go. (x2)… 2)I saw you again the other day, I met your wife, she’s very nice, But when I looked into your eyes, I knew you were in love with what never was. Chorus: I wish you well, only time can tell, Life is short and so let it go, let it go…. (x2) Bridge: What didn’'t happen, let it be, we can’'t re-write history…. 3)You’'ve got your boys, you’ve got your wife, Enjoy the love that’s in your life, You didn’'t let me get away, Live life full every day. Chorus: I make the coffee, I sweep the floor, I don’t want to fight, but it’s not right, You know it’s not right. 3) Where do clean clothes come from? Maybe heaven above Food appears in our fridge, must be from love, we’ve got a lot of love. Bridge: You are a good man, but we need to chat, I thought you’d figure it out, what if you, what if you, what if you have? 4) So here’s your notice, the cleaning service has stopped, The cook is tired, its time to step up, its time to step up. about

A funny thing happened on my way to getting old. My husband of thirty seven years, Gary, surprised me with an electric guitar for my 50th birthday after reading my bucket list. On my list, learning to play the electric guitar was next to tap dancing. I took guitar lessons thinking maybe I could become good enough to play some covers. I was shocked when I hit a C chord one day and a song tumbled out. That song was “From the Inside Out.” The last seven years have been filled with writing lyrics and chords as I chased the melodies that danced around in my head, and learning how to play the music I had written.
The most important thing I have learned on my journey is that I am never defined as a person. If you dream it, you are half way to making it a reality. If  I can do this, what else can I do?  Maybe even tap dance at seventy!

When Julie turned 50, her husband gave her a Fender Strat, the stars aligned and her natural gift appeared, the rest is kinda a blur. ... more
